WORK.

In 2022, I started at Updot as a front-end developer. I was mostly working on React, and NextJS applications, integrating Rest APIs, building animation-heavy modern-looking web apps, improving SEO and accessibility, and writing tests. Decoupling an old Drupal website and moving to NextJS was very challenging as it was a revamp but all the business logic should be intact so that the existing customer base can get along with the new development seamlessly and should handle the huge traffic.

In 2023, I got promoted to the Software Engineer role, and now along with working on the front-end applications as I did in my previous role, I also started working on the back-end applications, building SDKs and API, and also doing a lot of DevOps work like creating CI/CD pipelines, writing automated tests, using docker to compose parts of an application, deploying on cloud servers, and lot more creative development work. Leading the development of a new Saas application crafted using Svelte and Rust.

In 2020, I started freelancing with little knowledge I have had in building we application. I was mostly working with startups and recently funded companies how wanted to ship their MVP as soon as possible, and because of that I gotten used working long long hours at night as most of the clients were from Europe. Till this date I work as a freelancer as it become one of my side hustle and I get to explore new technologies work with great minds. I also lead a team of 5 in building an ecommerce website using GatsbyJS, Node, Stripe and Strapi.
